• Exam Nature: Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Marks & Questions: 200 total marks with 100 questions.

• Selection Multiplier: Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted category-wise for the Mains exam based on merit.
• Normalization: Equal-Percentile Method will be used if the exam is held in multiple shifts.

The Mains exam consists of two mandatory papers:

Paper 1 (General Hindi):

• Total 200 marks, 100 questions, and a 2-hour duration.
• Requires a qualifying score of 30%.
• Marks obtained will not be counted towards the final merit list.

Paper 2 (General Studies):

• Total 200 marks, 100 questions, and a 2-hour duration.
• Syllabus: General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability Test.
• Negative Marking: For both stages, 0.2 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
• Selection Multiplier: Candidates equal to 6 times the total vacancies will be selected category-wise for the Physical Test based on Paper 2 scores.

• Qualifying in nature; candidates must pass according to the specified physical criteria to remain in the selection process.

• Merit Basis: Prepared strictly based on the marks scored in Paper 2 of the Main Written Examination.
• Minimum Category-wise Cut-off for Merit Eligibility:
  • General Category: 40%
  • Backward Class (BC): 36.5%
  • Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 34%
  • SC / ST and Female Candidate: 32%

• Qualification Certificates (10th / SSC / Matriculation, Graduation etc.).
• Address Proof (According to Aadhar / Voter ID / Driving License / Passport / Ration Card / Birth Certificate).
• Scan Recent Passport Size Photo in JPEG / PNG Format.
• Scan Signature in Hindi or English. Both Signature Will be on White Paper with Black Ink in JPEG / PNG Format.
