UPPSC Assistant Professor 2025: Education Qualification
📚 Academic Qualifications (General)
- Master's Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in relevant subject from Indian/foreign university.
- Must have NET/ SLET/ SET qualification conducted by UGC/CSIR (or equivalent).
- Exemptions: Candidates with Ph.D. degree (as per UGC norms) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.
🎨 Fine Arts, Music & Performing Arts
- Master's Degree with 55% marks (relevant subject).
- NET/SLET/SET required (unless exempted with Ph.D.)
- Alternative for performing arts training:
- B. Grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan OR
- Strong practical knowledge with ability to explain subject.
🔁 Equivalent / Allied Subjects
Some subjects allow degrees in allied relevant fields, e.g.-
